FORWARD, Con't

We added more analogies, like a snapshot with four elements, frames or components.
If you are focused only on urgency ... you have little time for purpose or value. You are like a bluebird flitting around.

If you have no priority or your priorities are low, you are likely to stay busy but have little purpose nor value in your life.

If you have a higher purpose in your life, you will have more priorities and less urgency.

And finally, if follows that if you want value in your life, you will have a higher purpose, more priorities and less urgency.

These components are never constant. They are always evolving. Their relationships to each other change by the moment like the trout stream changes. If becomes a matter of reaching a balance to produce value and happiness.

This book uses many analogies to the natural world and the lessons to be found there. From the trout stream to mountain high places, from Bluebirds to ducks, geese and eagles, there are stories and insights about the management of time and the search for value in life.

The first published version of this book was titled, Six Days In September. It sold out. This revised book has been retitled and written to reach a broader audience. The first book was primarily for salespeople. The theme, however, remains the same ... “we all fish for something.”
